What a lovely first experience picking strawberries. There were plenty of wonderful ripe red berries, just standing in the fields smelled terrific, the staff was friendly, and oh man, them strawberries were oh so sweet. It's also really nice that the farm provides and lets us keep the buckets.
The way it should be. Inexpensive, easy to get to, clearly explained. Everyone's super friendly and there's a small playground with picnic tables to chill at after you pick out your veggies.
More people should bike here, but I may be biased.
We loved strawberry picking on Memorial Day and supporting our local farm! My son loved getting to run around with other kids his age and eat the juicy, sweet, delicious berries right from the farm. The weather was perfect too - clear skies, warm temps, and sunshine all around!
It was our first time picking strawberries yesterday. We had a blast!
Get the darker ones - they're sweeter.

High quality pick your own strawberries. Gets very crowded right at opening during peak picking season. Friendly staff. Cash or card. Portapotties available.
I love this CSA. Love the flower and herb garden and the flexibility. However I can only recommend the Full Share and not the Medium. Last year we did full share and it was amazing, but a little too much for me to keep up with the prep and cooking/preserving. So this year we did the medium share, expecting a little less; it is definitely more manageable for me, but I am disappointed in the lack of variety and most weeks feel I'm not getting nearly my time and money's worth as the full share. It's not just smaller quantities, it's fewer types of items resulting in less flexibility for items I'm allergic to, and I'm required to go to straight to the farmers market and fill in all the items I am missing from the full share, doubling my errands and my costs. Medium share backfired for me. If time and energy are a factor, gear up for the Full Share, or just make a single trip to a local farmers' market and be done with it.
